Cairo – Mubasher: EgyptAir will receive the first model of Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner by the first quarter of 2019.
The state-owned airline had signed the biggest deal to upgrade its fleet, including six airplanes of Boeing 787-9, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
In November 2017, the Egyptian carrier announced it had signed a long-term deal to buy six of the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which works by Rolls-Royce engines.
This comes within the company’s framework to upgrade its fleet to reach 130 new airplanes by 2020.
